Nigerian singer-songwriter Solana returns with a new single titled “O rí mi,” released on October 16, 2026. The record follows her earlier releases, “Okunkun” and “Dide,” as she continues to develop her distinctive Yoru-Pop sound, blending Yoruba musical influences with contemporary pop, synth-pop and alternative R&B.
Produced by Killertunes, “O rí mi” explores the emotions that come with love, vulnerability and the fear of losing someone special. Solana delivers an expressive performance over bright, shimmering production, combining Yoruba and English lyrics to create a sound that reflects her cultural roots and evolving musical identity.
The single also serves as a lead release ahead of Solana’s debut EP, Girl From The West, scheduled for November 6, 2026. It marks another step in her growing journey as one of Nigeria’s emerging alternative-pop voices.
