Jamie Black Releases “OGBA”, One of Nigeria’s Standout Afro House Records
Nigerian DJ and music producer Jamie Black is making waves with his Afro House record “OGBA,” a dancefloor-focused release that has continued to gain attention within Nigeria’s growing electronic music scene.
Originally released on November 27, 2025, as part of his FLOW EP, “OGBA” has grown beyond its initial release, earning support from DJs and electronic music tastemakers. The record draws inspiration from Nigerian street slang, where “OGBA” describes someone exceptionally good at what they do, turning the expression into an anthem of confidence, excellence and self-belief.
Following the song’s growing popularity, Jamie Black expanded the record’s reach with “OGBA: Remix Pack“, an eight-track project released on July 31, 2026, through WeTalkSound.
The remix collection features fresh interpretations from Tobi Peter, DJ Khalipha, Smeez & D3an, Proton, King Nonso Duke, Spenser M and Demi Andre, bringing different electronic music styles to the original record.
With “OGBA” continuing to find its audience across dancefloors, Jamie Black is helping push Nigerian Afro House and electronic music to a wider audience.
