Who Is SSSoundGawd? Real Name, Age, Songs, Record Label and Biography

SSSoundGawd Lyrics, Songs, and Albums | Genius

SSSoundGawd, born Behora Braveheart, is a Nigerian DJ turned rapper, songwriter and producer signed to Kilogbede Records, the label led by Afrobeats artist Mavo. He spent years on the decks and as Mavo’s hypeman before stepping out as a solo artist with “YA STRATA” in 2025.

His breakout came on 20 February 2026 with “Aura Salad”, a collaboration with Mavo that streaming charts picked up fast. His latest project is THE WORST EP, a six-track release with guest spots from Jeriq and Loony Q, which AfrobeatKit covered on 25 October 2026.

He is getting attention because the route from DJ booth to chart entry is unusual, and because his catalogue is growing quickly: three solo singles and a six-track EP in 2026 alone. Public detail about the man himself is limited, so this profile separates what primary sources confirm from what biography sites merely repeat.

Early life and background

Very little about SSSoundGawd’s childhood is public.

Birthplace and family. No source we opened names his hometown, state of origin, parents or siblings. RealProfilesNG says little is known about his family history or where he was born.

Design and Dubai. YNaija’s Culture Intelligence profile says he began as a graphic designer, studied in Dubai and made music privately. It does not say what he studied, which institution he attended or when. We treat his education as undocumented beyond that single line.

Early music interests. No interview we found describes his first musical influences. Any claim about what he listened to growing up would be speculation.

Stage name and identity

The stage name is SSSoundGawd, with three Ss and a capital G. Outlets spell it inconsistently: AfrobeatKit’s own EP post uses “SS SoundGawd” in places, YNaija writes “SssoundGawd”, and RealProfilesNG writes “SSSoundgawd”. We use the Deezer and Kilogbede Records spelling throughout and suggest AfrobeatKit standardises on it, since search engines treat the variants as different strings.

No source documents how he chose the name. RealProfilesNG says it refers to his production side, but gives no source, so we do not repeat it as fact.

Do not confuse him with other acts. SGaWD is a different artist, a female rapper and singer-songwriter listed on Music In Africa, and Culture Custodian’s 2026 EP list mentions her. A US act called SoundGahd is also unrelated.

No alias or nickname is confirmed. A TikTok sound caption for “MAMACITA” reads “SG BABY”, but that is a label on a sound, not a documented alias.

Music career beginnings

SSSoundGawd came up behind the scenes. YNaija’s profile describes him as a top-level DJ who headlined and played events across Nigeria, and says he worked mostly as a DJ and hypeman for Mavo before going solo. The profile gives no dates for that period, so we cannot place the start of his DJ career.

His solo debut is documented. “YA STRATA” was released on 13 June 2025 under the Bubbl Studios credit, per Deezer metadata, and runs 2 minutes 52 seconds. YNaija says the song gained traction online and led to a place in a Hennessy Nigeria advertisement featuring Tems. We found no campaign page to confirm the placement or its date, so treat it as reported.

He was also already getting songwriting credits. Deezer lists Behora Braveheart as a composer on “Wahala 2.0” by DJ Six7even (1 December 2025) and “Jollof Rice” by KRL Soundz (19 December 2025). That shows him writing for others before his 2026 run.

Breakthrough songs

“Aura Salad” (with Mavo). Released on 20 February 2026 on the two-track Breaking release, per Audiomack and Deezer. HYPETRIBE reported 284,937 streams on its first day on Spotify Nigeria. Kilogbede Records says it peaked at No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria and entered the Official Nigeria Top 100. Audiomack credits Dibs and DJ 808 as producers. The song does not appear among the No. 1 songs on the TurnTable Nigeria Top 100 in Wikipedia’s 2026 list, which runs to the chart of 9 July. “Topped the charts” therefore means the streaming-platform charts, not the Top 100.

“Hey Mama”. The other half of Breaking, credited to SSSoundGawd and 3 minutes 33 seconds long. Deezer lists Ugandan artist Joshua Baraka as a co-composer. A Tunesloaded post describes it as featuring Mavo and a Ugandan musician.

“BB Lifestyle”. Released on 17 July 2026 under Mavo’s name, and listed by Tunesloaded as featuring SSSoundGawd.

“SWAGGA” and “MAMACITA”. His next solo singles arrived on 11 July and 22 August 2026, both through Kilogbede Records. Both later appear on THE WORST EP.

Albums, EPs and mixtapes

THE WORST EP (October 2026)

THE WORST EP is his first EP. AfrobeatKit’s post lists six tracks with guest appearances from Jeriq on “EGO” and Loony Q on “Presido”. Deezer dates the release to 16 October 2026 under a NATIVE Sound Limited licence from Kilogbede Records and gives a total runtime of about 18 minutes 46 seconds. The track order and titles match across both.

No. Title Length Credits as listed on Deezer
1 SoHo 3:47 Written by Behora Braveheart
2 4UP 2:35 Written by Behora Braveheart
3 Presido (feat. Loony Q) 3:24 Writers: Behora Braveheart, Lindokuhle Mpumelelo Mtshali; composers include “jeep jack”
4 EGO (feat. Jeriq) 3:27 Writers: Ani Jeremiah Chukwuebuka, Behora Braveheart; composers include Melano Gafoor and Kefemetswe Ditlhase
5 MAMACITA 2:57 Written by Behora Braveheart; composer credit includes Isiaka Gbolahan Umar
6 SWAGGA 2:36 Written by Behora Braveheart

Deezer credits all six tracks to SSSoundGawd alone, so the “feat.” tags come from the AfrobeatKit post. Producer credits are not listed on Deezer. Confirm the guest credits and producers on the official streaming release before publishing.

Other releases

  • Breaking (20 February 2026): “Hey Mama” and “Aura Salad” with Mavo
  • “SWAGGA” (11 July 2026), single
  • “MAMACITA” (22 August 2026), single
  • “YA STRATA” (13 June 2025), single

No album or mixtape under his own name is confirmed.

Musical style

Kilogbede Records describes his sound as bouncy Afropop with Amapiano grooves, lamba rhythms and street-edged trap, built for dancefloors. Deezer’s profile calls “Aura Salad” Afropop and Amapiano-inflected. A concert-listing site also adds alté to the mix, but that is a third-party description.

Format. His records are short and dance-led. Every track on THE WORST EP runs between 2 minutes 35 seconds and 3 minutes 47 seconds, according to Deezer.

Delivery. YNaija labels him a rapper, while Deezer and Kilogbede call him a singer, rapper, songwriter and producer. How outlets label him varies.

Production. He is credited as a composer on his own songs and on other artists’ tracks. Who produced what is less clear. YNaija says he produced “Aura Salad” with Mavo, while Audiomack credits Dibs and DJ 808 as its producers. MPMania and RealProfilesNG say Lilgeebeatz produced “MAMACITA”, which we could not confirm from an official credit.

Influences. We found no interview in which he names influences, so we list none.

Record label and collaborations

Label. SSSoundGawd is signed to Kilogbede Records, according to Deezer and the label’s own artist page. Mavo leads the label. His releases carry different licence lines: Breaking credits Inner Circle Entertainment under exclusive licence from Kilogbede Records, THE WORST EP credits NATIVE Sound Limited under exclusive licence from Kilogbede Records, and “SWAGGA” and “MAMACITA” carry Kilogbede Records Limited directly. “YA STRATA”, his 2025 debut, carries a Bubbl Studios credit instead. Reporting also conflicts on when the label began (see editorial notes). We found no confirmed manager or booking agent.

Mavo. The central relationship. SSSoundGawd worked for him as a DJ and hypeman, shares “Aura Salad” and “Hey Mama” with him on Breaking, and appears on “BB Lifestyle”.

On THE WORST EP. Jeriq features on “EGO” and Loony Q on “Presido”, per AfrobeatKit.

Other credits. Deezer lists him as a writer or composer on “WOE$KII” by Straffitti (19 June 2026), “Wahala 2.0” by DJ Six7even (1 December 2025) and “Jollof Rice” by KRL Soundz (19 December 2025). Writer credits show involvement in the songwriting. They are not the same as a featured-artist credit.

Others named by third parties. MPMania and RealProfilesNG name the producer Lilgeebeatz, and RealProfilesNG and Tunesloaded name the Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka. Deezer confirms Baraka as a co-composer of “Hey Mama”.

SSSoundGawd’s age and net worth

How old is SSSoundGawd? His date of birth and age have not been made public. RealProfilesNG says no birth date appears anywhere online and then guesses he is in his twenties from his career path. That guess has no source, so AfrobeatKit does not use it.

What is SSSoundGawd’s net worth? No verified figure exists, and we found no published estimate either. RealProfilesNG says it is undisclosed. Publicly documented income sources are streaming royalties from his own releases, performing and DJ work, and a reported brand appearance. How much those add up to is unknown.

What’s next for SSSoundGawd

His 2026 releases show a steady rhythm: Breaking in February, “SWAGGA” in July, “MAMACITA” in August and now THE WORST EP in October. All came through Kilogbede Records, and the EP adds guests Jeriq and Loony Q.

We found no announced album, tour dates or new signing, so we make no forecast. The open questions are practical. How will the EP perform next to “Aura Salad”? Will he keep balancing his own releases with work for Mavo and other writers? And will his own guest list grow beyond the label’s circle?

Follow his official social pages for confirmed news. AfrobeatKit will update this profile as verified details arrive.
