Qdot Releases New Single “ADABI” Produced by 2Ty
Nigerian indigenous music star Qdot returns with a brand-new single titled “ADABI,” another Yoruba-inspired record that showcases his signature blend of street-pop, indigenous Afrobeats and Fuji influences.
Released on October 30, 2026, “ADABI” is produced by Nigerian beatmaker 2Ty and follows Qdot’s earlier release, “Emi Mimo.” The new song sees the singer lean into his familiar Yoruba storytelling style, delivering a record built around relatable expressions and cultural references.
On “ADABI,” Qdot touches on themes of fake friendship, betrayal, loyalty and the consequences of people’s actions. Through familiar Yoruba expressions and his distinctive vocal delivery, he turns the message into a reflection on trust and human relationships.
Known for songs such as “Alomo Meta,” “Gbese,” “Ibadan” and “Emilokan,” Qdot continues to represent indigenous Nigerian music with his ability to combine traditional influences with contemporary sounds.
