Lovince Mckenzie, Joshua Baraka & Ayo Maff – “Locked In” (New Song)
Kenyan-American singer and songwriter Lovince Mckenzie has teamed up with Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka and Nigerian Afrobeats artist Ayo Maff on a new single titled “Locked In.” Released on October 16, 2026, the collaboration brings together three artists from different African music markets.
“Locked In” continues Lovince Mckenzie’s musical partnership with Ayo Maff following their earlier collaboration, “Light Up.” This time, Joshua Baraka joins the duo, adding another East African voice to the cross-border collaboration. The release also arrives ahead of Lovince Mckenzie’s forthcoming EP, Dance and Soul.
With influences spanning Afrobeats, Afro-house and electronic dance music, Lovince Mckenzie has been exploring a sound that connects emotional songwriting with dance-oriented rhythms. “Locked In” forms part of that direction while bringing together the distinct backgrounds of the three artists.
