BNXN and Sarz Deliver a Strong Musical Chemistry
“Back Outside” combines BNXN’s smooth vocals and catchy melodies with Sarz’s polished production. The song features a distinctive chant inspired by Malian music, giving the record a unique sound within contemporary Afrobeats.
In an interview with The FADER, BNXN explained that the melody had stayed in his head for years. He also revealed that the song carries a personal message about overcoming difficult moments, finding reassurance and moving forward.
Sarz, who produced the record, helped reshape its original slower arrangement into the version listeners eventually received.
The collaboration continues the musical relationship between both Nigerian stars, who previously worked together on records such as “Gwagwalada” and “Pidgin & English.”
