Blxckie – “lonely” ft. L.A.X (From ‘YENA’ Album)
South African rapper and singer Blxckie joins forces with Nigerian Afropop star L.A.X on “lonely,” one of the standout collaborations on his newly released album, YENA.
Released on October 30, 2026, YENA is Blxckie’s 15-track sophomore studio album, arriving through Somnyama Music Entertainment and EMPIRE. The project showcases his growth as an artist, bringing together different sounds, moods and collaborations.
“lonely” appears as the 10th track on the album. The song brings Blxckie’s South African hip-hop and melodic influences together with L.A.X’s signature Afropop delivery, making it an exciting cross-border collaboration between South African and Nigerian music.
The album also features guest appearances from A-Reece, Bas, Usimamane and KindlyNxsh, among others. Other notable tracks include “bonkerz,” “cover me,” “dradi” and “let em have it.”
“lonely” was initially released as a standalone single on September 25, 2026, before finding its place on the YENA album.
With this collaboration, L.A.X adds another international appearance to his catalogue, while Blxckie continues to connect with artists beyond South Africa.
