Billboards spotted across Lagos are teasing what appears to be an upcoming concert announcement from Nigerian Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold, bringing back memories of his historic National Theatre performance in December 2025.
The billboards carry the message, “Who made history at the National Theatre on the 26th December 2025?”, followed by the title “ADEKUNLE GOLD: THE GREATEST SHOWMAN.”
The teaser has sparked excitement among fans, with many wondering what AG Baby has planned next. While the campaign strongly points towards another major live performance, the concert date, venue and ticket information have not yet been officially revealed.
A Reminder of Adekunle Gold’s Historic National Theatre Concert
On December 26, 2025, Adekunle Gold made history as the first artist to headline a concert at the newly renovated Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre, in Lagos.
The sold-out concert featured a 55-piece MUSON Orchestra alongside his live band, The 79th Element, as he performed songs spanning his six-album journey. The event also attracted guest performers, including Olamide, Yinka Ayefele and Adewale Ayuba.
The performance was widely celebrated, with the singer later recognised for filling the 3,560-capacity venue.
Now, with billboards teasing The Greatest Showman, fans are eager to discover whether Adekunle Gold is preparing another landmark concert or an entirely new live experience.
More details are expected as the campaign unfolds.
