BNXN Announces Next Album Title ‘Everybody Loves Buju’, Hopes to Get Buju Banton’s Blessing
BNXN has revealed the title of his next album, and it is a name that connects directly to an important part of his musical identity. The Nigerian singer says his forthcoming project will be titled ‘Everybody Loves Buju’, while also expressing his intention to somehow get the blessing of Jamaican reggae legend Buju Banton.
The title is particularly interesting because BNXN was previously known professionally as Buju before changing his stage name to BNXN in 2022. The decision was partly influenced by the need to establish a distinct identity and avoid confusion with the legendary Jamaican artist, who has long been associated with the name.
Now, with Everybody Loves Buju, the singer appears ready to revisit that chapter of his career in a more intentional way. His desire to get Buju Banton’s blessing also adds another layer of meaning to the album title, especially given the influence of reggae and dancehall on his musical journey.
BNXN has not yet shared a release date, tracklist, featured artists or production details for the upcoming album. For now, fans have a title to look forward to and the possibility of a meaningful connection between two artists who share the name Buju.
